Climbing

Tree climbing is our speciality. For when you just want a tiny bit off the top or can't quite reach the branches from the ground, we are comfortably able to reach anywhere on any tree thanks to our specialist climbing gear and developed skills from years of battling to get those hard-to-reach places. Because there's two of us, we always have someone capable of initiating an aerial rescue and can efficiently assist an injured climber to the ground if needed. We regularly practice this as an emergency procedure along with other first aid scenarios so we can keep our composure if an incident may occur.

Felling

Lots can go wrong when it comes to felling trees on your property. There are a lot of variables to consider when trying to get trees to fall a specific direction. With years of experience, we've successfully felled trees in all sorts of hazardous scenarios including near traffic, on the edge of cliffs and within proximity of high voltage powerlines so you can rest assured that we take all measures to safely lay down trees in the desired direction.

Breaking Out

It's often after the trees have been felled that the hard work begins! Large limbs that are holding the trunk up off the ground can have great amounts of tension or compression within the wood and can be extremely dangerous to remove. Using the correct cutting sequences and knowing where to situate one's self while always having an escape route is how we manage to avoid injury and damage to equipment and our clients' properties. Correctly dismantling a fallen tree on the ground is a systematic process we do not take lightly, but when done right reduces the time taken to dismantle a tree into brush, lengths of millable wood or firewood.
